A Green Day and Panic! At The Disco collaboration? Count us in.
Following Brendon Urie’s work with pop megastar Taylor Swift earlier in the year on smash single ME!, the Panic! At The Disco frontman has revealed who else is on his collaboration bucket list.
When told by a fan during a live stream that their “life would be made” if Brendon worked with Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, and that both Brendon and Billie Joe are their “all time inspirations”, the Panic! leader replied:
“Same though about Billie Joe Armstrong! I had the opportunity to meet him and the rest of the band – that was kinda crazy. I mean, [bassist] Mike Dirnt is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met – as well as Tré [Cool, drums]. They’re all so kind. And this was at a party where hundreds – maybe even thousands – of people were in that room. It was just intense. And they’re so personable, and very, very nice. And I would love to do music with them, because they’re just so fucking talented, and they had everything to do with me getting into punk rock.”

Back in December, Billie Joe revealed that he was working on new songs for the follow-up to 2016’s brilliant Revolution Radio. Green Day also recently unveiled details of their first-ever book, Last Of The American Girls, due out later this year.
A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
For Brendon, meanwhile, a new Panic! album could also come sooner rather than later. “I thought I would take a little more time off and I’m already starting music,” he said back in May. “Not with anything planned in mind, but just working on some ideas. I can’t help myself, so I don’t think it’ll be too long before another Panic! record.”
